Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your relationship with the operator of the online casino services offered under the Casino Metropol brand through metropolca.com (the "Website"), including any access via the Casino Metropol experience (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, using the Website or otherwise accessing the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Services are operated by Realm Entertainment Limited, a limited company registered in Malta with company number C51126 and registered office at Betsson Experience Centre, Ta' Xbiex Seafront, Ta' Xbiex, XBX 1027, Malta ("Realm Entertainment Limited", "we", "us", "our"). Realm Entertainment Limited is licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority ("MGA") under licence number MGA/B2C/196/2010, originally issued on 1 July 2011 and updated on 1 August 2018 and valid as at 6 November 2025.
The Casino Metropol experience is provided solely in connection with the Services offered on metropolca.com and does not constitute a separate operator. Casino Metropol does not hold a licence from the UK Gambling Commission. The real-money gambling Services are not targeted at and must not be used by persons located in the United Kingdom or any jurisdiction where such use would be unlawful. If you are located in the UK, these Terms are provided for information and comparison only and do not constitute an offer of gambling services to you.
Effective date: 6 November 2025.

Account Registration
Eligibility and Legal Use
- Age and capacity: You may only open an Account and use the Services if you are at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. The Operator reserves the right to request proof of age and to suspend or close Accounts where such proof is not provided or is unsatisfactory.
- Jurisdictional restrictions: You must not access or use the Services if doing so is illegal in your country of residence or from the country where you are physically located. In particular, because Casino Metropol does not hold a UK Gambling Commission licence, you must not use the real-money Services if you are located in the United Kingdom.
- One account per person: You may hold only one Account with the Operator. Multiple Accounts, including via aliases, shared devices or third parties, are prohibited and may result in closure of all related Accounts and forfeiture of Bonuses and winnings, subject to Applicable Law.
Registration Process
- Account creation: To open an Account, you must complete the online registration form on metropolca.com, providing accurate and complete information, including your full name, date of birth, country of residence, contact details and any other information requested.
- Email and contact verification: You may be required to verify your email address and/or mobile number by following the instructions sent to you. The Operator may restrict or suspend use of the Services until verification is successfully completed.
- Truthfulness of data: You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide is truthful, accurate and kept up to date. Providing false, misleading or incomplete information is a material breach of these Terms and may lead to Account closure and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.
KYC and Verification
- Identity checks: In line with MGA requirements and anti-money laundering legislation, the Operator will carry out KYC checks. You may be asked to provide identification documents (for example, passport or ID card), proof of address, payment method documentation and, where appropriate, information on the source of funds or wealth.
- Ongoing due diligence: KYC and affordability checks may be performed at registration, before withdrawals, upon cumulative deposits reaching certain thresholds, and at any time the Operator reasonably considers it necessary (for example, in case of suspicious activity).
- Consequences of non-cooperation: If you fail to provide requested documentation or information, or if the Operator has reasonable concerns about fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or other criminal activity, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, withhold Bonuses and, where required by Applicable Law, freeze or forfeit funds and report the matter to competent authorities.
Account Security
- Login credentials: You must keep your username, password and any other security details confidential and not share them with any third party. You are responsible for all activities carried out under your Account, whether or not authorised by you, unless such activities result directly from the Operator's failure to act with reasonable care and skill.
- Unauthorised access: If you suspect that your Account has been compromised, you must immediately change your password and contact customer support via the channels provided on the Website. The Operator may temporarily suspend the Account pending investigation.
- Inactive accounts: Accounts that remain inactive for a prolonged period may be handled in accordance with the Operator's internal policies and Applicable Law, which may include account closure and, where permitted, deduction of inactivity fees. Details will be communicated via the Website or email.
Betting & Gameplay Rules
General Rules for Placing Bets
- Game rules prevail: Each Game offered on the Website is subject to its own specific rules and payout tables, as displayed within the Game interface. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the rules of a particular Game, the Game rules shall prevail for that Game to the extent of the inconsistency.
- Bet limits: Minimum and maximum Bet amounts may apply on a per-Game or per-table basis. These limits are displayed within the Game interface or otherwise communicated on the Website and may be changed by the Operator from time to time.
- Placement and confirmation: A Bet is deemed placed and accepted when it is registered on the Operator's servers. Once accepted, a Bet cannot normally be cancelled or changed by you. The Operator's server records shall be conclusive evidence of all Bets and their outcomes.
Game Outcomes and Errors
- Random number generator (RNG): For non-live Games, outcomes are generated by an RNG supplied by the Operator or its licensed providers and are subject to testing and certification in accordance with MGA requirements. You accept that the RNG results determine the outcome of relevant Games.
- Live casino: For live Games, the outcome is determined by the actions of dealers and physical devices (such as cards or roulette wheels) operated in real time. The Operator will use reasonable efforts to ensure that live streams are accurate and uninterrupted, but minor time delays may occur.
- Malfunctions and obvious errors: In the event of a technical malfunction, interruption, bug, misconfiguration, or an obvious error (including incorrect odds or paytable), the Operator may declare affected Bets void, cancel Games, roll back transactions and restore the Account balance to the last correct state. Any winnings mistakenly credited due to such errors may be cancelled and reversed.
Conduct and Fair Play
- Prohibited behaviour: You must not engage in any form of collusion, use of automated playing software ("bots"), exploitation of bugs, manipulation of software, abuse of connection speed, arbitrage between different offers or any other behaviour that gives you an unfair advantage or undermines the integrity of the Services.
- Live chat and communication: Where chat or messaging functions are provided (for example, in live casino), you must communicate respectfully. You must not post or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or promotional/advertising in nature. The Operator may monitor and moderate communications and may mute, restrict or ban users for breaches.
- Compliance with Applicable Law: You must not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including laundering of funds, fraudulent activity, or evasion of sanctions. The Operator may report suspicious activity to competent authorities and regulators, including the Malta Gaming Authority.
Bonus Terms
Bonus Activation and Eligibility
- Offer-specific conditions: Bonuses and Promotions are offered at the Operator's discretion and may be subject to eligibility criteria, such as country of residence, deposit method or minimum deposit amounts. The specific conditions of each offer will be set out in the relevant promotional material on the Website.
- Activation: Some Bonuses require that you opt in (for example, by entering a bonus code or selecting the offer during deposit), while others may be credited automatically. It is your responsibility to read and understand the applicable conditions before participating.
- Non-transferable: Bonuses are personal to your Account, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged, and have no cash value unless and until all applicable Wagering Requirements and conditions have been met.
Wagering Requirements and Timeframes
- Wagering obligations: Unless otherwise specified in the relevant offer, Bonuses, Bonus winnings or free spins winnings are subject to Wagering Requirements. The required multiple of wagering (for example, "x times" the Bonus and/or deposit) will be stated in the offer terms.
- Game contribution: Different Games may contribute differently towards Wagering Requirements. For example, some slots may contribute 100% while table games, live games or low-risk betting patterns may contribute less or be excluded. The contribution table or relevant restrictions will be made available in the promotional terms.
- Time limits: Bonuses and Promotions are typically subject to expiry dates and wagering deadlines, which will be specified in the offer. If Wagering Requirements are not met within the stated timeframe, the Bonus and any associated winnings may be cancelled and removed from your Account as at the date of expiry, which in any event will not extend beyond 2025 for offers currently published.
Prohibited Play and Bonus Abuse
- Restricted strategies: The Operator may designate certain betting patterns or strategies as prohibited when playing with Bonus funds (for example, minimal-risk betting, equal/zero-margin bets, or placing large bets after reaching a certain win threshold). Such restrictions will be described in the promotional terms.
- Abuse and fraud: Bonus abuse includes, but is not limited to, opening multiple Accounts, colluding with other players, claiming multiple offers that are intended to be used once, or otherwise attempting to secure an unfair advantage. In cases of suspected abuse, the Operator may withhold, cancel or reclaim Bonuses and Bonus-related winnings, and may close Accounts in accordance with these Terms and Applicable Law.
- Combining promotions: Unless explicitly allowed, Bonuses and Promotions cannot be combined. If more than one Bonus is active, the Operator may determine the order in which Wagering Requirements must be met. Some Promotions may expressly exclude participation by players who have active Bonuses.
Payments & Withdrawals
Deposits
- Payment methods: The Operator may make available various deposit methods, such as debit or credit cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, prepaid vouchers and, where lawful and supported, certain digital or crypto currencies. The availability of specific methods depends on your country of residence, location and other risk factors.
- Account funding: Deposited funds will appear in your Account balance once the Operator (or its payment processors) has confirmed receipt. The Operator is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or banks.
- Source of funds: You must only deposit funds that belong to you and derive from lawful sources. The Operator may request evidence of the source of funds and may suspend or close the Account, and reverse transactions, if there are reasonable concerns about the legitimacy of funds.
Withdrawals
- Withdrawal process: Withdrawals are, where possible, processed via the same method used for deposit, subject to technical and regulatory constraints. The Operator may require that you satisfy KYC and anti-money laundering checks before processing withdrawals.
- Limits and timeframes: Minimum and maximum withdrawal limits, as well as expected processing times, will be stated in the cashier section of the Website. While the Operator aims to process withdrawals promptly, actual receipt times depend on third-party providers and your bank. Any time estimates provided are indicative only and, in any event, will be consistent with practices in effect in 2025.
- Currency and fees: Your Account will normally operate in the currency selected at registration, where available. The Operator may charge fees for processing deposits or withdrawals where indicated, and your bank or payment provider may apply additional fees or currency exchange charges.
Refunds, Chargebacks and Reversals
- Refund policy: Deposits are generally non-refundable once used for betting. The Operator may, at its discretion and subject to Applicable Law and regulatory requirements, agree to a refund in exceptional circumstances (for example, clear technical errors).
- Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback, reversal or similar claim in respect of a deposit, the Operator may suspend or close your Account, withhold funds to cover the disputed amount and any associated costs, and, where appropriate, report the matter to relevant authorities and the Malta Gaming Authority.
- Void bets and technical issues: Where a Bet is voided due to a technical malfunction or other error as described in these Terms, the Operator may refund the stake to your Account or restore the balance to its last correct state. Bonus funds may be adjusted to reflect the corrected position.
Limitation of Liability
Operator's Obligations
- Reasonable care and skill: The Operator will provide the Services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with its MGA licence obligations and Applicable Law. This includes taking reasonable steps to ensure that Games function as described and that outcomes are determined fairly, either via certified RNGs or correctly operated live equipment.
- Accuracy of information: The Operator will use reasonable efforts to ensure that information on the Website is accurate and up to date as at 2025, including game rules, payout tables and bonus conditions. However, minor inaccuracies or typographical errors may occur, and the Operator reserves the right to correct them.
- Security and continuity: The Operator will take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data and to ensure the continuity and security of the Services, but cannot guarantee that the Website will be free from interruptions or defects at all times.
Exclusions and Limitations
- Technical failures and external factors: The Operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from interruptions, delays, failures or malfunctions of the Services caused by a Force Majeure Event, third-party telecommunication failures, power outages, or issues with your hardware, software or internet connection.
- Indirect or consequential loss: To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business or loss of opportunity arising out of or in connection with the use of the Services.
- Maximum liability: Subject to the paragraph below, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you for any single event or series of related events shall not exceed the higher of: (i) the amount of the Bet or stake placed by you in respect of the Game in which the relevant event occurred; or (ii) your net deposits (deposits less withdrawals) to your Account over the preceding twelve (12) months, in each case as recorded on the Operator's systems.
- Non-excludable liability: Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or, where Applicable Law so provides, death or personal injury caused by negligence, and your statutory rights under mandatory consumer protection laws (including any UK consumer rights which may apply) are not affected.
Intellectual Property Rights
- Ownership of content: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website and Services, including but not limited to software, source code, graphics, logos, trade marks, text, audio, video, Game titles and design elements, are owned by or licensed to Realm Entertainment Limited, Betsson AB and/or their licensors and affiliates.
- Limited licence: Subject to these Terms, the Operator grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Services for your own private, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.
- Prohibited uses: You must not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Website or Services without the prior written consent of the Operator or, where applicable, the relevant rights holder.
- Third-party software and content: Games and supporting software may be provided by third-party suppliers under licence. You agree to comply with any additional terms and conditions relating to such third-party content, where notified to you.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.
- Legal basis and compliance: The Operator processes personal data in accordance with Applicable Law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Maltese data protection laws and, where relevant, any mandatory UK data protection rules that apply to the processing of data of individuals located in the UK.
- Purposes of processing: Personal data may be processed for purposes including account registration and administration, provision of the Services, KYC and anti-money laundering checks, responsible gambling, security monitoring, regulatory reporting, customer support and marketing (where permitted).

Changes to Terms
- Right to amend: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or regulatory guidance, updates to the Services, new security or responsible gambling measures, or organisational changes within the Betsson group, including during 2025.
- Notice of changes: Material changes will, where practicable, be notified to you in advance by means such as email, on-site messages, pop-up notifications or banners on the Website. The updated Terms will be published at https://metropolca.com/en/terms-and-conditions with a revised effective date.
- Acceptance of changes: By continuing to use the Services after the updated Terms come into effect, you are deemed to have accepted them. If you do not agree to any change, you must stop using the Services and may request closure of your Account in accordance with these Terms.
Termination & Suspension
Termination by You
- Account closure: You may close your Account at any time by following the instructions on the Website or by contacting customer support using the channels provided there. Before closure, you should request withdrawal of any remaining real-money balance, subject to Applicable Law, KYC and these Terms.
Suspension or Closure by the Operator
- Grounds for action: The Operator may suspend or terminate your Account, restrict access to the Services or withhold funds where it has reasonable grounds to believe that you have breached these Terms, are involved in fraud, money laundering or other unlawful activity, have provided false information, engaged in Bonus abuse or unfair play, or where required by Applicable Law or a regulator.
- Jurisdictional and licensing requirements: If it becomes apparent that you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a jurisdiction where the Operator is not licensed to provide the Services (including the United Kingdom), the Operator may suspend or close your Account and take steps to prevent further access. The Operator will act reasonably and proportionately and, where permitted, will release funds that are not subject to regulatory or legal restrictions.
Effect of Termination
- Funds and refunds: Upon termination, and subject to any rights of set-off, chargebacks, regulatory holds or legal obligations (including anti-money laundering duties), the Operator will pay out any remaining real-money balance to you using an appropriate payment method. Bonuses and Bonus-related winnings that have not met all applicable conditions may be cancelled.
- Data retention: The Operator may retain records relating to your Account and transactions for as long as required by law or regulatory rules (which may extend beyond 2025), after which data will be deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- Applicable law: These Terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them, your Account or the Services are governed by the laws of Malta, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection or gambling laws of your country of habitual residence which cannot be contractually excluded (which may include, for example, certain UK consumer rights, where applicable).
